The Lord has been good to us. Each one of us are living testimonies to what God has done in our lives. We rejoice in the power & promise of Easter. From Gethsemane to the Cross Jesus had every opportunity to turn away from his commitment to us. But Jesus “humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross” (Philippians 2:8).

As Christians we are called to spread the Gospel and help lead souls to Christ (Psalm 40:8-10).As Jesus said in the “Sermon on the Mount” in Matthew 5:15-16 “Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven“.

We need to come together. Paul said, “forbearing (holding up) one another in love.” I can’t do it by myself. We must come together in unity to reach out to the men in this church and around the community.
